Miami Beach Paintings

The rocks are an experiment
To stop the water flow
Onto the sand
But nobody told the water.
It's a washout

Without changing the water level
Miami's mountainous clouds
Sponge up the water from the sea
Nature didn't place the rocks
Along Miami's beach
So it's apropos for me to draw them in
With a water soluble pen.

The horizon curves ever so slightly
But I recognize
This doesn't prove the earth is round
It rather reflects
The course of my eyes
From this point on the ground
