Miami Beach Paintings

December 2002 and January 2003

Once I started writing in 1977, I painted less and less. But this year and last in Florida, our hotel room overlooked the ocean, and I realized I could wake up early and paint the sunrise without having to lug my paints onto the beach at 6:30 AM.
